The University College of Management and Sciences Khanewal (Now transformed into IMAS under the provision of the IMAS Act XXXVI of 2021) has been established by Pakistan Education Services (Private) Limited, which is registered under Company’s Act 1984 by SECP for the promotion of education in the country. The company was registered in December 2016. Pakistan Education Services (Private) Limited (PES) is dedicated to meet the needs of various communities particularly from rural area who may not be able to travel to larger cities in pursuit of quality education. PES established its first higher education institution, UCMS, in the year 2017 at Khanewal, to cater the need of provision of quality and affordable education to the people of deprived district at its door step. The Institute of Management and Applied Sciences, Khanewal is the first DAI (Degree Awarding Institute) to be established in private sector at Khanewal with a view to serve the population of Khanewal and adjoining areas. The proposed Institute is being established by Pakistan Education Services (Private) Limited for skilled and technical manpower as market driven force for the growing economy of the country.
